The identity is designed to reflect the fast-paced environment both past and present. The dynamic wordmark mimics the press rollers still found in the space today, and the wider identity is inspired by traditional printing processes.


Once home to the largest printing factory in Europe, Printworks is comprised of six vast event spaces. It holds a diverse array of events spanning culture, fashion, music, film, food and dance.

We created a brand centered around the core interaction: a video survey (vurvey). A simple mark based on a speech bubble can be ‘pinned’ to content, indiciating user interaction, and also forms the basis for the wider visual language. Brands are represented through macro photography to illustrate the specifics of user feedback.

Vurvey is a co-creation platform where consumers help shape and create new products in collaboration with brands, primarily through video surveys.

Individuality unifies everything at Wunderkind. So we put this idea at the heart of the brand. We built a diverse and eclectic cast of characters, whose adorned patterns carry through the wider identity. We balanced this with a black and white palette and a restrained (yet flexible) wordmark.
